We provide our customers with a comprehensive modular range of services for an optimum adjustment of tools to the processes in modern production systems and for extending their life time cycles to increase overall performance.

Tool Management - Optimised tool logistics ensure higher productivity
It is the purpose of tool management to optimise the entire internal and external tool logistics. This includes procurement and provision of tools, assembly and measurement, tool supply and return as well as assessment and tool reconditioning.
LMT ensures the provision of tools with provision models like Kanban or tool supply systems. Modern automated measuring and chucking devices help enterprises to reduce tooling and entry times significantly and to avoid input data errors. LMT also installs fully automated tooling cabinets in connection with modern industrial robots and tool identification systems. As tool managers and developers we work in a vendor-neutral way and in our LMT Tooling Centre we also ensure provision of tools from other manufacturers.

Tool reconditioning - “The earlier the better” – we think ahead in terms of quality
Regrinding and re-coating are part of the LMT tool cycle process. Determining the optimum material removal on the tool requires comprehensive planning and experience on part of the manufacturer. Only the manufacturer can ensure that original quality is no coincidence.

Tool supply systems - LMT sets standards with the eboy® tool supply machine.
The eboy reduces expenditure in connection with standard tool provision, stock and WIP inventory as well as tool wear. This essentially contributes to cost reduction. The eboy is the interface to the machine operator in your production; we take on the complete management task. The eboy is an independent tool management system.
