Boehlerit cutting edge event
Boehlerit broke new grounds for two main steel processing geometries. Chip breakers were tested and continuously optimised with rapid prototyping in a special optical “chip channel” until an optimum improvement of both geometries for their respective purposes was reached. Result: the new MP and RP universal turning geometries for perfect chip breaking!
Some facts: ground surface increased by 200% to improve the dynamic cutting function, stabilisation chamfer against chip impact when turning against shoulder, Nanolock adhesion layer for improved adhesion, etc., etc.
