DMG Roadshow again features LMT as tool partner in 2011
Last year’s DMG Roadshow was a great success. A total of more than 1,000 participants took part in this national and international series of events and found out more about solutions for the whole production process. LMT will also be contributing again this year as the roadshow’s tool partner. Altogether, there will be three DMG Roadshows using different machining centres.
- CTX gamma 2000
The programme lists a total of 36 different events. Between March and November the DMG Roadshow will be visiting India, China, Russia and several other European countries. The series of events will begin with the opening of DMG’s HSC Center of Excellence in Geretsried on 25 March.
Spotlight on the whole production process
A successful concept remains in place: users gain first-hand practical experience of how machine productivity can be increased directly by today’s tools, chucks and control systems. The entire manufacturing process will be examined – from tool setup and tool systems for drilling, turning, milling, hobbing and threading to machine development and programming. Experts from DMG, Paul Horn, LMT and other partners will inform participants in specialist lectures and practical demonstrations. Depending on the date of the event, DMG CTX gamma 2000, DMC 80 FD or DMU 60 eVo/65 mB machining centres will be used.
Tools play a key role
