LMT Academy in second half of 2011: Technology seminars for specialists

An estimated 400,000 new jobs, on the one hand, and an increasing shortage of skilled personnel, on the other, mean Germany’s booming economy is presenting many businesses with both opportunities and challenges. Many firms are responding with training measures aimed, for example, at preparing employees for new production processes. This subject is especially important when it comes to the productive and cost-effective use of precision tools. That is why the LMT Group offers technology seminars in which experts present specialist knowledge about tools and their safe and efficient handling.

From the choice of the right tools and the development of machining strategies to setting up different machine tools: the optimum interplay of all the elements involved plays a decisive role in the productivity of a manufacturing process. That’s why manufacturing processes are examined in a holistic way in the seminars of the LMT Academy.

Practical events

During the second half of 2011 the LMT Academy will also be offering a series of seminars in German and English – for example, on the subjects of hobs, rolling systems, milling, threading, clamping, product seminars as well as die and mould making. One key area of the seminar programme focuses on current practical problems. These can be discussed directly in a seminar and – if possible – solved jointly. Additional practical ideas are provided by customer-specific seminars, whose subjects are developed by the LMT Academy jointly with customers. The training events are then held either locally on customer’s premises or at one of the LMT companies.
