Time to gear up: LMT gear-cutting symposium on 22 and 23 June 2011

Without gear wheels – almost – nothing would move in drive technology. But what drives the people who make gear wheels? What are the industry’s needs? What does the optimum gear wheel production system look like? What potential do tools and machines have for increasing process efficiency?

A coating machine at the LMT service centre in Karlsruhe and a module 16 hob cutter before coating with Nanosphere.

LMT aims to examine these questions during its specialist gear-cutting event on 22 and 23 June 2011 – and it will be focusing not only on the theory, but also on very concrete applications and users’ needs. As a special highlight, the company will be presenting the latest generation of LMT Fette hobs based on the innovative SpeedCore cutting material – in action live.
