VDMA REGISTERS RISE IN FOREIGN DEMAND IN ENGINEERING SECTOR

The latest statistics of the German Engineering Federation VDMA indicate an upward trend in the orders received by the engineering industry. Demand from outside Germany rose again in June. In the first half of 2012, however, VDMA economists recorded a decline of 7% compared to the same period last year.

Global car market remains on growth course

Almost half of all businesses in Germany use social media on the Internet – from Facebook to Twitter to YouTube. At least, that was the finding of a new study by the Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM). LMT took its first steps in that direction long ago. Its Twitter channel currently has nearly 1,500 followers.
