The knowledge gained from research and development is turned into first-class products at modern production facilities in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, the USA, Brazil and Turkey. Highly trained staff, computer-supported production facilities with CAD/CAM workplaces operating under computer control and fitted with laser technology, quality assurance systems certified according to internationally applicable DIN EN, ISO and VDA standards are all typical of the firms in the Leitz group of companies and the LMT Group.

It is not just complete mastery of the fundamental materials such as steel, stellite, carbide, diamond, PCD and CBN used for the production of tools that is fundamental to these companies. With PVD, CVD, plasma and MTCVD coating technologies, every demanding combination of layers, including multi-layer and diamond coatings, can also be implemented without difficulty. In this way, the firms in the LMT Group within the Leitz association of companies are setting international standards of quality.
