Reaming for high-precision drilling work

Hardly any other tools are as representative of precision machining for metal parts as reamers. When they are used to improve the surface quality and the dimensional precision of holes, it can be just thousandths of a millimeter that are involved.

At the end of the process, a precision drilling – for instance in an important automotive component – is created that is literally rounder than before.
