A structure of hexagonal wax cells created by honeybees to contain their young and store honey.
Since the 1950s, aluminum and fiberglass honeycomb materials have been utilized in aerospace and rocket applications. Their geometric structure provides high out-of-plane compression and shear strength with minimal density
