Thread Rolling Heads and Rolling Systems
LMT Fette rolling heads create exterior profiles of any type. Cold forming enables high accuracy in just seconds. As a user, thread rolling provides you with several advantages in comparison with machining: Production time is extremely short, while high thread strength and consistent dimensions are achieved. Axial Rolling Systems
LMT Fette axial rolling heads have three thread rolls with pitch-free profile rings. The rolls swivel along their horizontal axis, so that the workpiece /the rolling head is axially shifted around the thread pitch with a full revolution. Discover Our newest generation, the EVOline.
Peeling Systems
LMT Fette peeling heads allow you to cover a special area of application: the peeling of the initial diameter to ensure chipless thread production. Use this tool to efficiently reduce the diameter of round and profiled material with a diameter range of 2 to 50 mm.
Radial Rolling Systems
LMT Fette radial rolling heads were developed primarily for short threads with a very short run-out. They enable extremely short processing times with stationary or rotating workpieces. The LMT Fette radial rolling head traverses axially over the workpiece.
Tangential Knurling Systems
Knurls are the preferred choice when non-slip or decorative surfaces are required on cylindrical components. As part of a shaft-hub connection, knurls also fulfill several technical functions, like transmitting high torques while ensuring a very good force flow.
Tangential Rolling Systems
The latest generation of the EVOline T3.18 tangential rolling head family is considered the most compact size. Its significantly reduced center height makes it suitable for installation on multi-spindle automatic lathes with a tight installation space situation.
